Google now provides special Rich Snippet HTML tags. These tags can be used to better structure your data on the web page so that search engines can make better sense of your data and provide better search results. For instance on a review website each part of the reviews will be labelled like the title, rating and content. Then if a person is searching for reviews on pizza restaurants it could bring up review information on that restaurant in the search results.
