These tags can be used to better structure your data on the web page so that search engines can make better sense of your data and provide better search results. Firstly these tags do not affect the way your web page will look. There aim is to make your web page content more accessible to the Search Engine spiders. For instance on a review website each part of the reviews will be labelled like the title, rating and content.
